Dr. Kaushik Sridhar

Signature keynote

Following
Your Dot.

Resilience. Purpose. Perspective.

What happens when life stops following the plan? Drawing on a journey across elite sport, corporate leadership, entrepreneurship and survival, Dr Kaushik Sridhar explores how uncertainty can reshape perspective, choices and the way we define success.

Dr Kaushik Sridhar delivering a keynote
Not a story about having all the answers. A conversation about what we do when certainty disappears and the next step is all we have.
The idea

The dots rarely make sense while we are living them.

Careers change. Plans unravel. Confidence gets tested. Sometimes the path ahead becomes completely unclear. Following Your Dot is about what happens next.

Rather than treating resilience as simply “bouncing back”, Kaushik explores how people can move through uncertainty with greater clarity, perspective and purpose. The keynote combines personal storytelling with practical reflection, inviting audiences to think differently about success, adversity, decision-making and the experiences that shape us.

“Sometimes the next dot is enough. You do not need to see the whole line.”
What audiences take away

A story people can feel. Ideas they can actually use.

The session is designed to leave people reflective, energised and more comfortable navigating change without pretending uncertainty can be eliminated.

01

Clarity over certainty

How to keep making useful decisions when the full answer is unavailable.

02

Redefining resilience

Moving beyond “bouncing back” to adapting, learning and continuing forward.

03

Perspective under pressure

How difficult moments can change what matters, what we notice and what we choose.

04

Purpose as practice

Why purpose is less about a grand statement and more about the choices we make repeatedly.

05

Success on your terms

Permission to question inherited definitions of achievement and choose a path that fits.

The story behind the keynote

A career and life built on unexpected turns.

Kaushik left home at 13 to train at the John Newcombe Tennis Academy in the United States, competed internationally, moved to Australia, completed an MBA and PhD, and built a two-decade career across sustainability, consulting, academia and leadership.

Then, in 2023, a journey through the Middle East became an abduction. The experience forced an entirely different confrontation with fear, uncertainty, control and purpose. That moment did not create the idea behind Following Your Dot, but it sharpened it.

01
SportDiscipline, identity, setbacks and learning to perform without certainty.
02
CareerReinvention, changing direction and building credibility in completely new arenas.

Kidnapped by Hezbollah: Freed by Purpose

The memoir expands on one chapter of the journey behind Following Your Dot: fear, decision-making, purpose and leadership when control disappears. It is deliberately grounded in the human choices made under pressure rather than the spectacle of the event itself.

For organisations, signed books can also be incorporated into selected speaking engagements as an optional audience package.
